Cuing games are fun turn-based multi-player games for two players. The board is populated with balls in random locations which means every Cuing match you play is unique!

Welcome to the tutorial page to help get primed!

Two balls are ‘in-view’ when both balls can travel between each other along a straight line which passes through the center of each ball.

Determining which balls are in-view is easy, just single tap any ball and the aimers will show you which balls on the board are in-view with the ball you tapped!

Sometimes to help decide your next move, you may wish to remove a ball from the board. Super simple, just double tap any ball on the board to ‘ghost’ it, then double tap the ball again to ‘unghost’ it!

In the game Cuing ‘Diskewer’ each player has two cue balls on the same side of the board, the one nearer the center is the King and the one further away is the Queen, while the remainder of the board is filled with object balls. Players alternate making moves by dragging the curser from a cue ball to an in-view object ball. The two Kings must always remain eclipsed from each other. During a successful move the cue ball moves to occupy the location of the object ball while the object ball explodes.
You win the game when your opponents Queen has no available options to remain eclipsed from your King or when the opponent Queen can not move without placing the opponent King in-view with your King. In classical game theory, exposing one piece to danger by moving another piece out of the way is called a ‘skewer’.

Achieve victory in many ways. Seize the initiative when you ‘Check’ the opponent Queen by placing your King in-view with her. Once the opponent Queen is on the run force her into a corner and away from her King. When you are on the run find protection behind your King. If your king is nowhere to be found, fear not, look to counter attack! Use your Queen to remove object balls between the opponent Queen and your King until your King is in-view with the opponent Queen putting your opponent on the run! Also, look a couple moves ahead to avoid traps, or to spring them!
Diskewers unbalanced play makes it the most unique of the Cuing games. Enjoy the ebb and flow and start seizing the excitement!
